AOX Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 26, 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of AOX, a cloud-based aerodynamic shape optimization platform, including subscriptions, CFD simulation runs, optimization workflows and related services.
1. Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are entered into by and between ADRO Inc. (registered business name in Korea: 주식회사 에이드로, business registration number: 827-87-01633, registered address: 100-29, Songju-ro 236beon-gil, Yangji-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea) ("ADRO", "Company", "we", "us", or "our") and the person or entity accessing or using AOX ("Customer", "User", "you", or "your").
2. Definitions
- "AOX" or the "Service" means the cloud-based aerodynamic shape optimization platform provided by ADRO, including web applications, APIs, solver workflows, compute infrastructure orchestration, storage, support, and documentation.
- "Account" means the user account created to access AOX.
- "Plan" means a monthly subscription plan such as Beginner, Engineer, Turbo, Professional, or OEM.
- "Job" means a CFD simulation, optimization, or related workflow submitted through AOX using Customer Data and selected run parameters.
- "Customer Data" means geometry files, STL files, run configurations, boundary conditions, objective functions, project data, and other materials submitted by or on behalf of you.
- "Output" means job results, optimized geometry files, summary files, visualizations, logs, and other files generated by AOX from Customer Data.
3. Service Description
AOX provides cloud-based CFD simulation and aerodynamic shape optimization workflows using CPU, GPU, storage, networking, and solver pipeline resources. AOX may include solver workflows such as G1-Fidelity, G2-Fast, and G4-Frontier, subject to your active plan.
AOX is a resource-based engineering software-as-a-service platform. It is not a guarantee of a particular aerodynamic result, drag reduction, manufacturing outcome, regulatory certification, race performance, or commercial result.
4. Accounts and Team Administration
- You must provide accurate account, billing, and contact information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, social login access, team invitations, and payment methods.
- Actions taken through your Account or Team are deemed authorized unless you promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access if account information is inaccurate, if your use creates security or operational risk, or if you violate these Terms.

7. Billing and Recurring Payments
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the Service flow or applicable written agreement. The billing cycle is calculated based on the initial subscription start date. If the next calendar month does not have the same day, the renewal date may be adjusted to the last day of that month.
If a recurring payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend, limit, expire, or reactivate access according to payment status.
8. Plan Changes and Cancellation
Downgrades from a higher plan to a lower plan take effect on the next billing date. You keep the current higher plan access until the end of the current billing cycle, and no cash refund is provided for the price difference in the current cycle.
Subscription cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You may continue using the active plan until the cycle ends. Fees already paid for the current billing cycle are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
11. Customer Data and Outputs
As between you and ADRO, you retain ownership of Customer Data. Subject to these Terms, you also own the Output generated from your Customer Data, except for ADRO technology, software, templates, solver logic, platform components, and pre-existing materials embedded in or used to generate the Output.
You grant ADRO a limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, store, display, and otherwise use Customer Data and Output as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
You represent that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary to submit Customer Data to AOX and to allow ADRO to process it.
12. Restrictions
- Do not use AOX for unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
- Do not upload malware, malicious code, export-controlled data without authorization, or data that infringes the rights of any third party.
- Do not reverse engineer, copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, rent, or provide AOX as a service bureau without ADRO’s prior written consent.
- Do not bypass security, rate limits, access controls, billing controls, or solver access restrictions.
- Do not interfere with, overload, or disrupt AOX, its infrastructure, or other users.
13. Intellectual Property
No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms. Feedback, suggestions, or improvement ideas may be used by ADRO without restriction or compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
14. Third-Party Services
AOX may rely on third-party providers for cloud infrastructure, payment processing, authentication, analytics, monitoring, email delivery, and other services. ADRO is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, but we select and manage providers as appropriate for the Service.
15. Availability and Changes
We may suspend or limit access for maintenance, upgrades, security events, abuse prevention, infrastructure failures, legal compliance, or operational reasons.
16. Disclaimers
AOX is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. ADRO does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, or business purpose.
You are responsible for professional review, validation, and engineering judgment before using any Output in design, manufacturing, safety-critical, compliance, or commercial decisions.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADRO will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or replacement costs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADRO’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to AOX is limited to the amounts actually paid by you to ADRO for the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by applicable law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
18. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ADRO, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your Customer Data, your use of AOX, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussions. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be submitted to the competent court under applicable procedural law, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require another forum.
20. Regional and Mandatory Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer, privacy, or subscription laws. If a mandatory local law applies to you, these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by that law.
